Sales Engineer 25 hours/week


Position will begin ASAP. Job consists of sales and engineering responsibilities such as:

Solar PV Design Engineer:

*Create architectural drawings for roof-mounted and ground-mounted residential solar projects based on preliminary sketches
*Create complete sets of project plans that include:
*PV Array Layouts
*Roof Plan Layouts
* Site Plan Layouts
* Elevations
* Structural Roof Details
* Structural and Attachment Details
* Roof Mounted Systems (flush and tilt-up)
* Self-Ballasted Systems
* Ground Mounted Systems
* Perform Shading analysis and reports to guarantee system performance
* Ampacity Calculations
* Electrical Schematics
* Three-Line Diagrams

Sales:

*Creating quotes based on systems designs, invoices, answering telephone inquiries and assisting with projects and sales orders.

Familiarity with e-commerce content management and the Stone Edge order management system is preferred.


Candidate must have a college degree in electrical engineering and at least two (2) years of office experience. Ideal candidate will be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD, professional, articulate, independently motivated and reliable. Great communication and computer skills are necessary.
